The Railway Man - UK Premiere

Premiere Scene’s Claire Bueno and Anthony Bueno were on the right track as they interview actors Colin Firth, Jeremy Irvine, Sam Reid, Tanroh Ishida, director Jonathan Teplitzky, producer Bill Curbishley, screenwriter Frank Cottrell Boyce and prisoner of war veteran Eric Adie as they attend the UK Premiere of The Railway Man. Join us as we were honoured to ask Eric Adie about what it was like to forcibly work on Thai / Burma railway during World War II; Colin Firth about the theme of forgiveness; Jeremy Irvine about capturing Eric Lomax and Colin Firth’s mannerisms; Sam Reid about the depth of his research into Death Railway; Tanroh Ishida about how he approached his part; Frank Cottrell Boyce about how he adapted Lomax’s book; Jonathan Teplitzky about how the performances emotionally affected him during filming and Bill Curbishley about how this is a story that should never be forgotten.

Now Is Good European Premiere

There were no need for tears as Premiere Scene’s Claire Bueno and Anthony Bueno attended the European Premiere of Now Is Good based on the Jenny Downham novel; Before I Die. An enthusiastic cast and crew were all in attendance to talk about the coming of age story of a girl fulfilling her to do list before loosing her fight to leukaemia. Interviews lead by screenwriter and director Ol Parker; producer Peter Czernin; actors Dakota Fanning, Jeremy Irvine, Olivia Williams, Kaya Scodelario and Edgar Canham tell us how all the characters contribute to what is essentially an uplifting story.
