Diana World Premiere

We were in the company of royalty this evening as the cast and crew of the new movie about the Princess of Wales held court in Leicester Square, London as they attend the World Premiere of Diana. Premiere Scene’s Claire Bueno and Mike Jonas were there to interview Naomi Watts (Diana), Naveen Andrews (Dr. Hasnat Khan), Douglas Hodge (Paul Burrell), Juliet Stevenson (Sonia), Daniel Pirrie (Fraser), director Oliver Hirshbiegel, producer Robert Bernstein and costume designer Jacques Azagury.

Join us as we ask Naomi Watts how the part of Diana pushed her as an actress; Naveen Andrews about how much freedom it gave him to play non public figure; Douglas Hodge, Juliet Stevenson and Daniel Pirrie about the compelling love story; Oliver Hirshbiegel about the importance of supporting Ms Watts in her portrayal of such a high profile part, Robert Bernstein about the care taken to be respectful of the Peoples Princess and Jacques Azagury about the challenges presented to him re-creating the clothes of a style icon.

The Impossible - Charity Premiere

Director of The Orphanage Juan Antonio Bayona’s latest film The Impossible brings us a new incarnation of horror; though this time based on the true events of a family separated during the 2004 Tsunami and their quest to re-unite. At the Charity Premiere in aid of the Indian Ocean Disaster Relief (IODR) Premiere Scene’s Claire Bueno and Mike Jonas interview Bayona who shares with us why he refused to use CGI to re-create the natural disaster. Stars of the film Ewan McGregor, Naomi Watts, Tom Holland and Samuel Joslin explain how shooting the film in Thailand helped give them a clearer perspective in defining their roles and Maria Belon the survivor with whom this story is based, reveals why this story should be told.
